You mean the DA or LE would have leaked it in the past few days? - nope I doubt it - nothing has been leaked by the DA - all the leaking has been coming from Karr or outside sources that knew of Karr (or they thought they knew Karr). Outside sources would not know if he had a relationship with Simon due to the nature of the relationship.

Yeah I knew Karr, he and I swapped kiddie porn together, he paid a visit to me and I actually help him add some JonBenet's and other Little Miss Beauty Pageant pictures to his kiddie porn stash.

I am just sleuthing and not trying to doubt what you say, but never say never. Hopefully we learn something soon if Karr is the one or not after they get him up in Boulder and maybe the first DNA results will be back soon.
