The courts have ruled numerous times that any statements made while in a 'voluntary' state of intoxication are admissible.
It would prolly be a gray area, but I'd sure make sure the stewardess/cabin attendant or who had control of booze was in close attendance, all the time.
I know we have a few lawyers here so here goes the pings.

my understanding he is not truly under arrest until he hits US Soil and anything he said on the plane was not during his arrest and can be used against him.
