Whooo-weee. "We've completely finished bricking up the part of the basement where a well known murder of a little 6-yo girl took place."

Rte66:

Again I am just thinking and not picking on your thoughts about the movie theme quotes.

One thing about the ransom note. He could have wrote it beforehand and stuffed it into his pocket. His plan could have been to rewrite it on the pad of paper he found in the house, so that he did not leave the original behind. (the originals could be traced due to the outside paper source and ink, plus he would have to be careful to keep his prints off of it) A cheat sheet ransom note would help him write the secondary one down faster because it is already thought out and written down on his cheat sheet ransom note he brought with him. (keep in mind - if the killer is an outsider he has proven to LE and all of us that he is methodical and was well prepared in advance to get into the house and out. You also have to think the the ransom note is a ruse)

Also the writer of the ransom note could have been a avid reader (like Karr is suppose to be) and he may have not seen the movies but read the books and the movies came out later on. All he would have to do is dogear pages or highlight areas in the books that he likes the quotes from and wishes to use later on at some point in his sick little life. (Finding out if the movies were books before the movies were made would take some time checking into)
