about asking questions about conflicting evidence or forensics. Agree, but even today talking heads were saying things that had been refuted or were no longer relavant because of the more current DNA test with more modern accurate results.... Some sounded like they had been reading FR threads instead of looking at the actual facts ;^)

And that's unfortunate. I've tried on this forum to simply ask open-ended questions and I'm fully prepared to accept evidence of an intruder. If the family had nothing at all to do with what happened to the child, then answering these questions WHILE continuing to look for an intruder, will only help the case. In fact, in an objective investigation, those two things would have been closely related: Each serves the other in understanding what really happened.

But you're right, there are a lot of posts that can't be verified and I know some in the MSM read this stuff. So, you're point is well taken.
