I posted last night on one theory I have that Karr new the photographer. (scroll back and find it) If he did, the photographer would never come forth due to the nature of their relationship. Karr could have visited the photographer without a paper trail or without anyones knowledge.

Why did he kill her? - maybe he did what he wanted to her that night, he may have wanted to touch her, look at her in real life, maybe he wanted to see her die at his hands right there in the home while he watch her struggle and stare into his eyes. He covered her up, so he was ashamed or pained over what he did.

The ransom note to me is not a ransom note - it is a cryptic message to John or both parents. It is part of the game.

Have you ever read Mind Hunter? or any of John Douglas' books? - If you have not I strongly suggest you read at least Mind Hunter.

if you can place him in boulder, and explain how he got into the house etc - no one has any issues with regards to him being sick enough to commit the crime. the guy is a sicko, that is the one fact not in doubt.
