I don't think any family plans for this kind of thing. But too many are willing to exploit it if it falls into their hands. That is more than likely the case here. You would think that they would go talk to him to get an idea whether he is guilty or not before making public statements.
Unless they already know something that points to him and are withholding evidence/information.
