For your bookmarking assistance, this is a reference list of links to the Aug 2006 or newer Free Republic threads on the topic of the JonBenet Ramsey murder case and the possible arrest of John Mark Karr as a suspect in her murder.
The plane from CO to pick up JMK has landed in Long Beach, CA. (My local TV news said Long Beach, Colorado - aaarrggh.)
Supposedly, two pilots, 3 deputies and two sheriffs from CO will accompany JMK back to CO.
Sorry, that was old news. He's on the plane and here it is:

huh?
I sat here and watch Karr get on the plane on Court TV - he should be CO about now.
ok... :-)
Why didn't you post that, then? I don't have cable and I'm doing 5 things at one time. Hard to read anything anywhere else.
were autospy photos released to the public? - Nancy Grace said she has a set of them and there are about 36 photos. Are these online?
someone else posted it... sorry
never mind I found them
you might not be alone, but to say that most people hang onto letters is simply false. Some do and some don't and I'm betting most don't. I for one didn't hang onto to any ex boyfriend letters when I got married. Most newly weds don't really like it when their new spouse is hanging onto to ex husbands/wives/boyfriend/girlfriend letters.
do you have a link?
They expected the phone call between 8 and 10 which was supposed to explain the delivery. It was just downright odd to go into "it's going to be exhausting. You better get some sleep". How one looks at that phrase depends on whether or not you believe the note was intended to be a ransom note. I do not. I think it's purpose was to taunt, and that it was also a sort of calling card of the perpetrator.
The only letters I have are the one's my husband wrote when we were dating. They were sweet and we are still married....Oh! I do save letters from my grandmothers now. I didn't when I was younger, but now I realize that they may be gone soon and I wish to remember what we wrote about during this time.
yeah, all I have is my hubby's letter's to me and no one else's. BUt I have hun onto a letter from my grandmother as well and hang on to things here and there, but ex's????NO WAY!
Time to get up now.
;-)
Carrots and apples are awaiting you ........... two of Barbaro's favorites, by the way.
And buttercups and peppermints and sugar cubes and grapes and pears and horsey cookies and ...
self-grazed grass!!!!
Stolen/bought by the Globe. If she's got them she's a naughty girl. Most I though where returned under threat of prosecution. Not all were obtained by the Globe.
More proof of the media being complicit in messing up this investigation.
"I do think Karr is a serial killer "at this point"
I'm still withholding judgement on this particular case regarding Karr. But, I've spent the last couple of days reading about these types and Karr fits right in with them. Everyone keeps saying that he's only fantasizing, and bragging. That's a common trait of serial killers. They are fueled by fantasization, and they love to brag. They also get off on almost telling the truth, but withholding just a little bit, because this way they still retain power and leverage. It's a gigantic ego thing.
"Just heard today that Karr's neighbor in Alabama in 1996 says he was at home there on Christmas Day. She helped him move some furniture. When they were done, he got in his car and drove the 4 1/2 hours to Atlanta to be with his family on Christmas."
So, he wasn't with his family Christmas morning. Perhaps he drove somewhere other than Atlanta?
Unless something definitive turns up, there's reasonable doubt all over the place.
But don't feel bad for JMK. He got a free flight with all the prawns he could eat and all the champers he could drink, then will get to sue a whole hell of a lot of media companies like Richard Jewell did. Probably sell a book too. Might do a little jail time as his other perv habits come to light but, in the end, he'll have enough money to have hot and cold running little girls for the rest of his life. America - what a country!
