I disagree entirely. But for the sake of argument, lets say this entirely false premise is true.
Now let's imagine that you have developed your own theory to explain some phenomenon. But you are concerned that at some point in the future, some monster with ill intent will come along and twist your theory and claim it as a justification for his deeds.
How this would in any way address the validity of your theory should be completely lost on anyone who thinks scientifically. Perverting someone's theory for political purposes is not a way to test whether it is valid. Anyone who would denounce your theory because some jerk misused it would be committing guilt by association--a well-recognized logical fallacy.
Think about it. Science would grind to a halt if no one put forward theories out of fear that some monster might twist them for nefarious purposes at some future date.
