The killer had to know the Ramseys or be one of the Ramseys. This could be the guy ... but so far there is nothing that appears to connect him to the case except that he was "obsessed" by it.
Either he was in the room with the Ramseys, or he is a nut...I'm sure the Ramseys are in on it
