A FNC reporter this AM (8/6/06) in a whining voice states that Israel is using too much disproportionant force. I believe his first name was Jeff.
Question to Jeff: Is this some type of a sports event where the opponents are supposed to be evenly matched so as to present a even matched game?
If you think this you need to drink more "kool-aid".
Finally one of FNC made a mistake and admitted there are people in North Israel. Are these people civilians. And are the huzzies bombing civilians?
Israel should use twice the force they are using. By the was are all of Libanon military on vacation in France (for 6 years)? Say If a terrorist put on a Libby uniform and went south no problems at all -right Jeff?
To FNC: One CNN is all my stomach can take. Get your reporters in order or officially join CNN
Can there be too much disproportionate force? So just a little disproportionate force is OK?
If my house has termites I am not only going to kill the ones I see so I can stop the droppings on my window sill.
Just another instance of the feminine viewpoint being illustrated by a male. It's another manifestation of what Rush calls, "The Chickafication of the news".
When I was in Thailand during the invasion of Iraq, many of my friends complained, "Why is a strong country like America beating up on a little country like Iraq. It isn't fair" My response was like the Freepers on this and other threads. Who in their right minds wants to fight an evenly matched, "fair" war with the risk of losing and the assurance of mass casualties? One hand tied behind one's back indeed! Stupidity reigns supreme.
Jeff Goldblatt is a Chicago-based reporter for FOX News Channel (FNC). He joined the network from WTVJ-TV (NBC), in Miami, Florida, where he served as a general assignment and investigative reporter.
Most recently, Goldblatt traveled to Jerusalem to report on violence in the Middle East and the capture of two Israeli soldiers by Hezbollah. Previously, he reported on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina from Houston, TX, and on the Duke University rape investigation. Prior to WTVJ-TV, Goldblatt was the chief investigative correspondent for American Journal. Before his stint there, he worked at Providence Journal/A.H. Belo Broadcasting as a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent covering the political beat.
Goldblatt began his career as an anchor/reporter at WECT-TV (NBC) in Wilmington, North Carolina, and later as a reporter/anchor at WTVR-TV (CBS) in Richmond, Virginia.
Goldblatt graduated with honors from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
I have been upset at some of FNC's reporting as well.
I understand they may feel the need to kiss some Hezbutt so that they can report from the scene, but one has to ask, "Is this price really worth it?"
Michael Tobin is a Jerusalem-based correspondent. He joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a Dallas-based correspondent after serving as general reporter and substitute anchor for the FOX affiliate WSVN-TV in Miami, Florida.
Most recently, Tobin provided on-site coverage from the Israeli-Lebanese border during the conflict in the Middle East. He also covered Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharons hospitalization in Jerusalem, the evacuation of Jewish settlements from the Gaza Strip, the Iraqi elections in Baghdad and Operation Iraqi Freedom from Centcom in Doha, Qatar.
Thanks for the correction, TPD. His name is Mike Tobin, of course.

Before joining FOX, Palkot was anchor, reporter, producer and writer, abroad and domestically, for programs airing on PBS, Financial News Network (now CNBC), WABC and CBS. Hes won three New York area Emmy Awards as well as honors from the Associated Press, United Press International and the International Film and Television Awards.
Greg speaks French, German and Italian. He graduated from Wesleyan University and is a native New Yorker.
Uh oh. Big red flag right there. An old high school buddy of mine attended Wesleyan and he's been a bleeding-heart lib ever since.
Yep, thats what I thought also.
He has been leaning waaaay in favor of the Hezboloos
ever since I heard his first report....
anything but Fair and Ballanced
Jeff Goldblatt??
A proportionate response would be the indiscriminate slaughter of Western journalists.
NEW Tagline! Thanks!
I've been following a fair amount of the Lebanon/Israel coverage, and while you always get some random reporters saying random things from time to time, I think it's been clear that Fox News has had by far the best coverage and reporters who treated the situation a lot more equally and professionally than CNN.
