Israel is using too much disproportionate force.

Can there be too much disproportionate force? So just a little disproportionate force is OK?

If my house has termites I am not only going to kill the ones I see so I can stop the droppings on my window sill.

"A FNC reporter this AM (8/6/06) in a whining voice states that Israel is using too much disproportionant force. I believe his first name was Jeff."

Just another instance of the feminine viewpoint being illustrated by a male. It's another manifestation of what Rush calls, "The Chickafication of the news".

It's the "chickification" of everything that's killing this country.

Israel is using too much disproportionant force.

When I was in Thailand during the invasion of Iraq, many of my friends complained, "Why is a strong country like America beating up on a little country like Iraq. It isn't fair" My response was like the Freepers on this and other threads. Who in their right minds wants to fight an evenly matched, "fair" war with the risk of losing and the assurance of mass casualties? One hand tied behind one's back indeed! Stupidity reigns supreme.

I have been upset at some of FNC's reporting as well.

I understand they may feel the need to kiss some Hezbutt so that they can report from the scene, but one has to ask, "Is this price really worth it?"

Thanks for the correction, TPD. His name is Mike Tobin, of course.

I've liked Mike Tobins style as well.
Now the one that gets me POed is that Greg Palkot

[snip]

Before joining FOX, Palkot was anchor, reporter, producer and writer, abroad and domestically, for programs airing on PBS, Financial News Network (now CNBC), WABC and CBS. He’s won three New York area Emmy Awards as well as honors from the Associated Press, United Press International and the International Film and Television Awards.

Greg speaks French, German and Italian. He graduated from Wesleyan University and is a native New Yorker.

He [Palkot] graduated from Wesleyan University

Uh oh. Big red flag right there. An old high school buddy of mine attended Wesleyan and he's been a bleeding-heart lib ever since.

A Proportional response would be the indiscriminate slaughter of helpless Lebanese civilians. Get a grip Junk Media,

The Law of Averages says that Hizzies are due to hit big time. Just saw that they have! They will again because even the most stupid can reset a unguided rocket in the same place.\\The law of averages says it is time for bad things to happen to Isreal simply because of the shear volume of rockets.

If I was OIC of IAF a decree would be made to shoot any automobile moving on any road at any time. Thus the law of averages starts working for the other side.

He is so stupid he forgets that the first freedom to go with a terrorist takeover is freedom of the press.

J. Hunt in Beirut is "sick". He must be the pres of the Propaganda machine.

Need to check his bank account. For sure he is getting a good vacuum job or paid off.

I've been following a fair amount of the Lebanon/Israel coverage, and while you always get some random reporters saying random things from time to time, I think it's been clear that Fox News has had by far the best coverage and reporters who treated the situation a lot more equally and professionally than CNN.
