I was asked to take her third hand. The girl who found her is the grown daughter of a neighbor and the girl lives in another town. Daughter called mother, mother called me. They thought it was a boy. While waiting for the kitten to show up, a name came to me, Sam. Then she turned out to be a girl. She is most definitely a Sam girl, often called Sammy, Spam, Spamses the Great, etc.
