"Ambush is her favorite prank. She loves to sing in the bathtub and to retrieve things. She runs down the hallway to my office to let me know the microwave pinged..."
OMG, I'm in love. Sam's absolutely, show-stoppingly beautiful! Love her drapery bit. She looks very fetching in that pose, which I 'magine she knows. If she's half as smart as she looks, you really are in trouble. In a good way, that is.
My mouth fell open when I read about Sam's bathtub/hallway follies. Her stuff is quite similar to the antics Rhys specializes in. I often call him bathtub boy because he's had so many tub-time adventures. He cruises the edges whenever I soak. He's also bubble monitor, shampoo sniffer, jungle boy peek-a-boo shower curtain champ, and our executive loofa-lifter. Tub yowling is mandatory. No point exerting oneself anyplace else. Siamese are smart enough to establish where the best acoustics are and then they use them. A little vocalization and they're off to The Met, at least in their minds.
Hallways are an entirely different matter. It appears those manuevers require a much higher degree of difficulty, planning and stealth. Gotta jump from out of nowhere and blitz past both owners and all other meezers a minimum of once per day. Rhys also seems to believe surprise-jumping from the fifth step up the stairway to directly behind Taylor is a very good thing to do. Tay always bolts. Rhys always chases him, and soon a royal pretend-rumble is sure to follow.
I'm so glad your vet was able to help you with the Siamese learning curb. It exists, that's for sure. We all go through it.
Best to Sam from Elliott, Taylor and Rhys. Three very handsome "men" who would admire her I'm sure.

LOL. That would be, "Siamese learning CURVE." 'Scuse me.
I'm not a spelling or grammar cop, no need to correct yourself when the meaning is apparent.
Sam wants to know if you have any photos of the guys. She's never dated but is willing to consider it.
I think her first trick was hiding behind doors and jumping out at you, landing facing you with her legs splayed, ears down and body low - you know the stance - it's playtime! I caught onto the trick fast when, in her excitement, she'd run ahead of me to get behind the door. Doesn't matter, it still means playtime.
Siamese truly are amazing. She's got my heart in a fatal grip.
