If you read his research you'll see that the building could not have fallen from the imact of the planes and resulting short lived fires which were not hot enough. Your argument has been tried.

So why did the Towers fall down, if not from the heat of the fires from the plane attack? I scaned the thread and didn't find that little "factlet" easily.
Home heating oil has about the same BTU as jet fuel. 10,000 gallons of it, without additional fuel will cause structural steel to fail. Here's your proof. This is steel with very little load on it. Put a massive load on it and cut a few of them for good measure.
