"If the guy was wearing a turban, he was likely Indian."

Sorry?

http://jihadwatch.org/

or more specifically

http://www.king5.com/topstories/stories/NW_072806WABshootingEL.3d89c1.html

Phrases like "Pakistani man" and then saying things like "I'm a Muslim American; I'm angry at Israel," suggest

a) He ISN'T an Indian national

and

b) He IS a muslim

It's not your best day is it?

Er, um, did you look at the post I was referring to? The comment was NOT about the Seattle shooter.

Pay attention.

India has more Moslems than just about any country on Earth, so being Moslem doesn't exclude anyone from being an Indian.

On the other hand, the issue was the headgear. Sikhs, who are not Moslems, wear turbans. Some tribes in Afghanistan wear turbans. Some tribal groups among the Hmong in Southeast Asia wear turbans.

Modern Moslems tend to NOT wear turbans.

A turban, in and of itself, does not serve to differentiate a Moslem from anyone else.

It's the attitude.
