I totally agree with you Wolf. I was just thinking today and remembering what my dad said about WWII. They had a civil defense group back then and my dad's job was to sit on the water tower and look for enemy planes...he would have been in the service but he was only 12 at the time.
Grin...that's actually sweet. But see, that's the thing. Americans young and old, handicapped or not, could participate in the Civil Defense Corps. And it is a great force multiplier, providing more eyes and ears than law enforcement, the National Guard and military could ever hope to provide on their own.
I really wish we in the grass roots could find a way to get Congress to pass legislation reviving the CDC.
