Unlike some southerners that pretend to be what they aren't (Hi STAND) and eat accorcingly, I'd rather eat cayenne peppers off the bush then a bowl of grits smothered in butter and sugar off the stove.
Some would say this is how I got my red hot wit and acid tongue, but I just love cayenne peppers, they keep me regular.
