I'm really not mean spirited or evasive at all, I just can "stand" hypocrites.

To me when someone that has devoted their life to the defense of this country and swore an oath to defend it against ALL enemies foreign and domestic says they want to divide this nation into two parts again through armed rebellion to create a New confederacy for the sake of those few whose only claim to the old confederacy is that they look good in hoods or butternut, is a wee bit hypocritical?

STAND suffers for "Re-enactors Syndrome", it's a common mental disease among grown men that like to dress up in period uniforms and play with toy guns and sleep in tents in the fields of glory. They get so wrapped up in being people that are long dead they often forget the real reason why so many died, the southern Democrats could not win a debate in congress on slavery so they tried to sneak out of this country and broke it into two.

Being a Marine allows me to break things down into simplistic terms almost anyone can underSTAND, well almost anyone could underSTAND that is. STAND has admitted that Democrats ran the south, and he has admitted that slavery was truly evil, now the only thing left for him to do is admit that so many died so that democrats could maintain the evils of slavery and the south and his Re-Enactor's Syndrome might be cured, all he'll have to do then is dress up like Honest Abe for a week and verbal memorize the Gettysburg address to the point where tears flow freely every time he hears it and he'll be cured.

So repeat after me STAND.....

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

STAND, in truth, Lincoln was talking to the whole nation as it's President, not half but all.

in TRUTH, "dishonest abe" was GARBAGE & one of the WORST presidents that the country has ever had. he was PERSONALLY responsible for the NEEDLESS DEATH of a MILLION people, as he INTENTIONALLY chose WAR rather than PEACE with the new dixie republic.

i frequently compare him to "wee willie klintoon", as they were of the same sort. BOTH would DO & SAY ANYTHING to get more POWER & $$$$$$$.

NEITHER had the morals of an alley-cat. it's called "NO MORAL COMPASS"!

EITHER would have advocated CANNIBALISM as a "life choice", if 2-5% of the voters had wanted to kill & eat people.

PITY that you are "taken in" by what POLITICIANS & SHYSYTER lawyers SAY.

one would think that you were old enough to SEE what people DO is MUCH more important than what they SAY.
