Happy Birdday
If you get up to Homosassa, check out the Margarita Grill. About 8pm every night, the Greek immigrant owner hands out flags, gives a speech how thankful he is to America and our troops, and plays a few patriotic songs. Oh, and they have giant margaritas, too.
oh i don't doubt it for a minute DG, i am sure he is all of that. did you each always have the political convictions that you currently have or did someone change? xshub and i were both liberals once upon a time and we both changed our views, simultaneously. Neither of us can understand the mixed marriage you have, or that Mary Matalin and others have. it is just our own personal flaw. is dilbert Prolife? bc that is my bottom line, i suppose i could handle the other stuff that liberals think, if they were immovably and unshakeably prolife and that it meant that they could not possibly vote for a prodeath dem politician. but then i don't know how likely that sort of dem is. Both xshub and i share that prolife bottom line.
where is homosassa? that sounds like a great guy!
(What was the most tempting?..)Ditch the dogs for...?
today? the wine!
Chocolates #1, yum-yum
Wine #2, I can taste it from here
Mocasins #99, Ugly (with a capital U!)
How come you are so damn smart? You know a lot about a lot. I'm envious! Meow, meow!
He spoke at my church last night.
(Interesting side note: He was a member of my church from 1975 to 1979 when he lived in Fort Worth.)
It is one of the strange vanities of the left, that the things they "permit" for others are things they would abhor for themselves. My husband, in the particular of our children, our grandchildren, is endlessly grateful for their lives. But in the abstract, he would leave the value of the child's life up to the mother.
As a supportive dad and grandpa, he worked a 3AM-12:30PM shift and came home to babysit to allow my daughter to breastfeed little Raffi Jack, (now a hefty 9lbs) for the first two months of his life. He did my daughter's laundry during a difficult pregnancy, when there was talk of dwarfism and spina bifida.
None of our children believe him when he spouts the party line, in particular, because he was so willing to allow Alice to move in with us, rather than become a ward of the state -- as a personal responsibility, that included long walks in the middle of the night. Dilbert has always known my politics, and I have always known his. I recognise that the (d) behind his name has more to do with loyalty to his parents than loyalty to a party. I loved showing him this video. Tell me what you think!
My mom is from Crystal River (via Massachusetts)!

Up the Gulf Coast (Ocala is the nearest big city). Just got back myself from two weeks staying with some friends in Inverness.
OK, one more recommendation - about a 1/2 mile north of Clearwater is Frenchy's Rockaway cafe (on Rockaway beach). Try the she-crab soup.
I have a friend living in Zephyrhills. Says he can't understand why the bottles of spring water don't say "Crystal Springs". Sounds more appetizing than Zephyrhills water, no?
Happy early birthday to ya.
Have a great time!
"the most interesting student in this class"
That I could live without, all things considered-but I have heard that spooks don't like changes to their environment...
