A little voice keeps telling me we need to focus on the criminal corruption of the black power structure beginning with Bell and make a line to Easley. It can be done.

And it may not be just Durham. Those sex signs are all over the state, and even if the signs have been removed, the business is still a protected one.

I find it hard to believe the state cannot shut down a whorehouse.

For those from outside North Carolina, Raleigh is the State Capital, and the home of the Legislature, Supreme Court and Governor. All Democrat controlled, of course.

As far as I'm concerned, NOT helping the players because of their race is just as much a hate crime as prosecuting them because of their race.

The FBI should be accused of a hate crime--it's refusal to get involved (in a case where it surely would have been involved if any elements of the players' identity were changed) surely qualifies as an obvious case of race discrimination.

Write to the FBI, the DOJ, and to your congressmen and senators.
Congressmen and senators will try and pass the buck; but maybe one or two of them will forward your constituent
letter to the federal agency involved, to get an answer
back for you (staffers, if they don't ignore you completely, routinely do this).

There is enough evidence of inflamatory racial hate,
bigotry, conspiracy to inflame racial hate (black panthers), threats to defendants because of their race,
etc., to make a clear case for intervention by the civil rights division of the DOJ and investigation by the FBI.

(If the Klan were threatening the defendants and telling them IN COURT that they were "dead men walking", and meeting with the DA, the FBI would already be there.
Exactly WHAT did Nifong say to the panthers? The FBI
should be asking that question. Should have asked it already. What's their excuse for NOT asking it? I want to hear their answer.)

I read in the past few days that the House Speaker for NC
was involved in some kind of chain of strip clubs, or something (details a bit hazy).
If anyone can find that article, let's research a bit.

The gov. appointed Nifong over many better qualifed people (Black, for example). He probably thought he would get something out of it--either for the party or for himself.

If the whole state is dirty (and like LA), then let's take a look.

You are taxpayers and they owe you the courtesy of a response. You may have to remind them of that.

Their site is filled with info about how to be sensitive
to hate crimes against muslim passengers in airports
and muslims in other areas of our life; but how about
being sensitive to a LYNCHING?
