Darwin's theory is discrete in nature.

I'm curious why do you insist on using the word "discrete" when you could just as easily used the word "continuious"? And it's a better fit to his words in cited in the article?

Continuous is a good word.

Because discrete is correct and continuous isn't as correct.

"Gould's theory was discrete and eposodic."

So was Darwin's.

He wasn't incorrect.
