Allegra! How goes things???? Well I hope over there?
I had to chime in - just got back from scout camp with 7 boys. My 13 year old son was going to make some camp coffee for me... He set it all up and I waited and waited and waited for it to perc over the fire. Pretty soon I started to smell burned coffee - but still no PERC! I got the pliers to lift the pot off the fire and noticed it was VEEEERY light... he added the coffee in the strainer but no water... :(
Nothing worse than salivating for 20 minutes waiting for that cup of coffee only to find out ya gotta start it all over... :)
Ah...he did the opposite of my blunder. Your son and I would make a good team. Between the two of us, we could probably get it right. ;-)
Doing fine over here. It's hotter'n a whorehouse on Nickel Night (you remember the summer weather, I'm sure...) and we're all hanging in here. Never a dull moment , ya know.
Are you all adjusted to life back in the States now? I hear some people have a hard time with that.
