And of course one would presume that all the leftist "work" on the problems of cross-racial IDs apply equally when blacks ID whites. I am willing to bet some of our commentators have used that research in prior cases. I wonder if they will mention it here?

There is a lot of literature on cross racial IDs - every possible combination, blacks, whites, asians, etc. The findings are consistent: people are more accurate when id-ing their own race. They make more errors of omission and of commission when id-ing other races.There has been a huge amount of work done on this and other factors affecting eye witness identification.

There is also a lot of literature on repetition and false memories. Four picture presentations, possibly more, will produce false positive id's.
