Given the circumstances this might be the most efficient summary of what happened to their great team.

Plus the English fans have caused a national panic in Germany having drunk almost all available beer. Now thats a accomplishment!

No kidding. Even if England can't beat Germany in the World Cup they have done a much more important accomplishment! I'm so proud of the English fans!

I'm not a great soccer fan, but from what I've seen Argentina looks like the team to beat.

Remember your legs are much stronger than your arms, and these guys aren't in body armor like hockey and American Football teams.

That's very diplomatic :)

Mind you, I have to admit Australia were robbed.

Argentina (probable): Abbondanzieri, Cufre, Ayala, Heinze, Sorin, Gonzalez, Mascherano, Riquelme, Rodriguez, Saviola, Crespo.

Why no Messi? Passing the ball to him is almost like scoring a goal already.

jesus i am so nervous.

Five hours to work until the preparation for the match starts.

Argentina is really very good. This will be a very very tough thing to win for germany.
I really like the way argentina plays very well organized good technical skills and good fighting spirit and will.

We really need the best performance of the last years to win this match.

So far Messi was mostly used as a substitute, which kind of also makes sense against Germany. If the German team has one thing going for them it's their great physical fitness. So far they have been hardly breaking a sweat when the English were already puking from exhaustion (ok, I exaggerate *LOL). Having Messi as a joker for, say, the last half hour might prove the better idea than wasting him during the first half so he's out of breath when it really counts.

Messi is one of my favourite players, but he has been at his best this World Cup coming in as a sub. In his only starting game he was average.

Have you ever played soccer real football ? At least this sport is actually played with foots. Unlike that funny American one.

Italy - 85%. Ukraine played in a very easy group (except Spain) and Switzerland in the 2nd round, otherwise they wouldn't be in the 1/4 final.
Germany - Argentina, everything is possible.

I'm here in South Africa with the family. Lamb chops on the braii, beer in the cooler, lawn chairs as everyone but myself complains that 68 degrees F is cold. I'm learning to like soccer. Or beer and chops, take your choice.

Juan Roman crushes the disintegrating Ballack who is fading and goaless.

This must be a setup. A keyboard accuser declaring the sport wussies from a guy called Cyber Spartacus.

Now there's an insult worth getting upset about. What's next brave keyboard Spartacus?

We fart in the general direction of your sword, I mean keyboard, brave cyber warrior.
