There was not a Southern Jessie on the 66 squad.

Most of England's sternest critics appear to be the supporters of the teams who have long since been heavily beaten and knocked out of the competition.

The passing needs more accuracy too.
A Southern Jessie is a term for a limp wristed Londoner.

Sono felicissimo, e lei ?
Why is it that Italy uses the national team coaching spot to crown a brilliant career (Sacchi, Trap, Lippi) while Germany and Holland hand it out to unexperienced coaches but great players (Voeller, Klinsmann, Rijkaard, Van Basten) ?
I hope Lippi's experience sees the azzurri thru to the final.

And Germany win!!!! Huzzah!!! What a match -- Juergen Klinsmann's boys really kept their nerve. What about Miroslav klose's double-header off Borowski? Or Ballack recovering from a limp to net the penalty! Woooo!!! What a match. Germany deserved to win!!! Deutschland!!

right on!! The current German team has impressed me -- not as dour as the team 4 years ago -- on the contrary, sparkling, exciting fuBball, with Lam, Klose, Podolski, Lehmann, Ballack, everyone playing entertaining footie!

I was a big England fan before the Cup, but they've been playing lacklustre footie -- I actually turned to rooting for Trinidad against England!

I believe that either of both teams will be the new world champion - or maybe Brazil.
Waddya mean "maybe Brazil"? With Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Cafu, Gilberto, Juninha, Adriano, etc. etc. on paper, Brazil HAVE to win the world cup. the only thing that could stop them would be if Germany pull the same miracle Greece did for Euro 2004

Yeah. how the H did France pull that match off against Spain? Huh? Incroyable. I'm a big Thierrry Henri fan (go Arsenal!), but thought France was a goner (they can't play well together)

tough luck -- I was on a deep level rooting for the cinderella team Ukraine, but hey... Italy's playing is atrocious, not really top notch performances at all

Woo-aaa! This is cool! I've been watching the games, and 2006 is turning out to be excitement city! GERMANY against ITALY (go Italia!), and coming in from the Quarterfinals with England (Beckham!) vrs Portugal and Brazil vrs France, my Goodness! - this could end up being ENGLAND VRS FRANCE SEMIFINALS!
Can you imagine? Germany vrs Italy on one side and ENGLAND VRS FRANCE ON THE OTHER ! ? !
I'm for ENGLAND and the Triple Lions! GO ENGLAND! GO BECKHAM!
I hope we have an Eng vrs Fra game ... I hope Italy takes the Germans, and then we see:
ITALY VRS ENGLAND! WOW! GERMANY VRS. ENGLAND would be a heart attack as well!
This could be an ALL EUROPE WAR!
