I would have to share your assessment. My lawyer is most classy and charming, originally from Buenos Aires.

I don't know much about the Falklands War, but I guess it was on par with Clinton blowing up a couple of tents in the desert during the Lewinsky fiasco.

While watching Wimbledon earlier today, I heard a commentator say that Andy Murray (a Scot) will be cheering for Portugal tomorrow.
He is obviously an ABE supporter. (Anyone but England).
LOL!!
Lang may yer lum reek, Andy!

"Wops" are Italian-Americans. The term "Wop" means "Without Papers" meaning, an immigrant who came to this country without any documentation. The paperwork given to them when they entered the country was stamped WOP.
Somewhere along the line, this term became exclusively associated with Italian-Americans. Not sure how. But the guys playing for team Italy aren't "wops." I'm not really sure what they are.
Just to show you I'm not some sensitive weenie, feel free to call me a frog all you want. I don't care.

I didn't see it, but I have heard several people saying it was an Argentinian sub who kicked a German in the back with the foot of god.

Ukraine have been terribly unlucky.
Then again, it is very typical for Italy.

Ok, but it´s a shame that the Ukraine made it into the quarter finals. There have been better teams in this tournament.

And now the crossbar. Looks like we won't have much of a second half as luck would have it.

The Argies could learn a thing from Italy on how to play with a one-goal lead (and now two).

Yup we could have seen two more goals. Ukraine has shown they belong.
They've developed more against Italy than the Aussies and the US.
We need to see a goal to see some interesting game here.

The organization and discipline is easier said than done. And so the Argyles learned for themselves today.
What were they 10 minutes away from putting the game away?

I thought that Klinsman had ruled out taking the USA job?
That's because as a coach you don't EVER talk about leaving your team in the midst of a tournament. That's also why Scolari (It was Scolari, right?) had to turn down the job with the English team.
Klinsmann might have considered that option - and maybe still does, but a.) he has enough on his plate right now and b.) coaching Germany is still a top job in the world of soccer. You don't just quit that job unless you absolutely have to or you're really, really, really desperate for a challenge (like coaching the US).
