...Soccer - The sport invented by wussies for wussies....

Yeah, I want to be an American football quaterback and rub my hands between the center's legs every play.

Now that's a real man's sport!

And I´m pulling for GERMANY because a) I´m German and b) the party shall go on. The atmosphere is so great and positive, that cannot be over today. By the way, the German team has impressed during this tournament - unlike Argentina, which had a good start, but a tie against the Netherlands and after 90 minutes against Mexico aren´t persuasive.

I have to agree, although I originally thought Argentina was the team to beat. This game is for the tournament.

Anybody been watching Drew Carey's coverage of the Cup on the Travel Channel?

Drew Carey's Sporting Adventures World Cup 2006

Lot of neat "behind the scenes" stuff.

What is it about soccers fans always replying to American football about the QB's hands between the centers legs???

Anyway, you want to see some "sissy" American football play, watch this: NFL's Hardest Hits

Oh, and I'm really enjoying this years World Cup. Have not been a soccer fan but am learning to appreciate it.

Go Germany!!! All the way to the finals. This is the marquee matchup of the tournament. Can the German defense stop the ball handling skills and speed of the Argentines? Can the Argentines stop the physical, attacking German offense, which is strong in the air and on the ground. Great matchup.

'What is it about soccers fans always replying to American football about the QB's hands between the centers legs???'

I think it's because soccer-trolls regularly post eloquent and witty reparte along the lines of "Soccer is sooo gay!" and then leave pleased with their knuckle-dragging contribution to the beautiful game!

The NFL uniforms do rather give the impression they were designed in San Francisco. . . . . ;-)

Why do you soccer trolls have to be the skunk at the garden party? What's the motivation? If you don't like the most popular sport on the planet, don't watch it. Leave us alone with your childishness.

Tall task to beat Brazil, though, even on European soil. We will see. Zidane played as well in the Spain game as he has ever played.

Frnace will be very competitive with Brazil. They have done well in the past including beating them in 1998 in the final 3-0.

LOL! I had to bring that up in reponse to these guys that like to pop in on soccer threads and put down the sport.

Personally, I'm a fan of both American football and soccer.
