Maybe pick one or two of the biggest ones and see if they are still looking good inside. See if you've got the same bugs I had. Save all your husks and the stalks, the horses love them :~)

Think I'll try that...even if they aren't ripe all the way up, if there are any ripe kernals, I may just cook it anyhow...

And you can have all the stalks eventually, for sure. ;-)

The one I picked actually looks pretty darned good! Way tinier than it should be, but complete otherwise.

This is one of the bigger ones...but maybe I'll have something edible after all. I did see one small bug, but it doesn't look like they're infested or anything.
