The little squirrel is still alive though not conscious, and I think just in shock. He felt cold, but I'll be danged if he doesn't still have a heartbeat. I covered him up, thinking warm is better, but really, I think he's gonna die. I still see no visible injuries. If it's just shock, can he recover?
I would think so...raise his hind legs up slightly. Seriously, prop them up on a little cushion or a rolled up hand towel or something...
Vet ping. Yeah the can recover from shock but it is not a sure thing.
