Well, I got a very polite email back from Ebay, and they assured me that I had not been reported. But my inclination is that someone is trying to drum up business and reporting other homeschoolers. I'm pretty intuitive. (I had to be, growing up...you never knew when the rug would be jerked out from under ya.) That original email I posted on this topic just set up all kinds of red flags in my spirit!
They did mention that some of the actual dealers of this material had complained. Well, I tell ya, when BJUP sells me a 1st Grade Spelling Teacher's Edition that is heavily stained with what may or may not be water for 99 cents, I'll buy it. Otherwise, I'm not paying 23 bucks for a flimsy paperback TE that I can get (admittedly stained) for 99 cents from Ebay!
Ebay said I should submit input...they might change the policy.
A lot gets by 'em, though...I'll try again later this summer. I had no bids on it yet, though people were watching it. It went several days without being pulled. Perhaps I'll shorten the auction time...
As long as it's not a history of the Canadian War Memorial...
