Hmmm.... I like the idea of being a mystic, but I'm a little off-put by the name Smellingham. :~)
If it helps, it's an ~assumed~ name.
It's even stranger that I'd choose it :~)
Hopefully she'll feel more like eating now.
Not eating is a bad path to start down.
This could have been a major health issue, sister should have said something.
I'm sorry this is taking such a toll on y'all. I know how my sisters felt dealing with Mama.
Yeah, it may have just been a bad week with the pain episode and all the pain meds she took. In fact, not taking her other stuff could have contributed to that initial episode.
Letting her manage the meds was a matter of letting her feel like she still had some responsibility. Maybe getting back on track will help even things out.
Well, we'll let you think it through. You would be either Vidalia or Viburnum, one of the "horticulture" (if you get my drift) sisters. But they don't get a big role.
I've been reading/editing my story from last year. It's still crap. But I think it's a workable story.
(I forget, am I supposed to cry for Boromir?)
Either way, I'm sure I'll have a good time in your story :~)
Yes, you can cry for Boromir.
No tears for Boromir tonight, but the "I made a promise Mr. Frodo..." still chokes me up after all these times.
I'm taking Luke to King's Dominion tomorrow. Not sure if the wife is going. Depends on Nana. But we got "family appreciation" passes because Jr. is working there.
g'nite
g'nite :~)
(Such a fetching picture, I had to post it!)
Or was he more like one of these guys?
Apparently, Washington State hosts alligator lizards, skinks, and horned lizards ... what we here in Texas call "horned toads." (A real Texas drawl stretches the word "horned" out to two syllables: HORR-ned.)
That is a pretty cute picture :~)
Geek mode off, for now.
I've got a wrangler role to fill - you'd be a natural.
Morning, sip, nice rain last nite, sip, got about an inch, sip. Gardening could be dampish today, sip.
g'mornin'
I just got an update on my friend David who was in the bike accident last Sunday.
The CT scan on Friday showed that the damaged brain tissue is dead. The doctor said he may never wake from the coma, and if he does he will be blind and unable to speak and walk.
Needless to say, I'm a little stuned.
Prayers appreciated for David and family.
I got another 2.something inches. It's still dripping.
Corin; We're 'stuned' as well; prayers for David and his family, OB & LSA
You've been getting a bit more rain that us, seems to be the pattern this time around. It's a shame the grass is too wet to cut. :-)
