Well...got the trash out. Forgot last Friday and I shouldn't have done that!

My evening went about as well as an evening of poking at servers could go, I guess! Nothing went wrong, so there's that.
I brought Cisco with me. He was jumping at every noise and really wanted to just go home, but did OK otherwise.
Well at least he wasn't by himself, and you had some measure of security having him there. Sounds like a win-win to me!
Heh...I think if anyone had actually come at me, he woulda dropped and rolled over and left me to my fate. ;-) But it still was nice not being completely alone in an empty building.
Heh... I don't think Cisco could scare anyone either...

Speaking of slightly computery things, am I total geek for mourning slightly yesterday as my van had its last kinda binary moment?
The odometer was at 111110 when I got to work and at 111111 when I stopped for gas on the way to the interstate afterwards.

Yeah, SirKit was bummed that his laptop was NOT one of the affected models. His battery isn't holding a good charge anymore and he was looking to get a freebie. ;o)

In other news, my brother's wife did it to us again. Standard practice for rentals at the beach is that you have until noon the following Monday to reserve the same week for the next year.
I called her ON OUR WAY HOME from the beach and said "we'd like this week or the next one." She never returned my call.
I finally got her last night and she said "all those weeks are taken."
I'm not really believing this was just another "oops."
