I seem to have touched a nerve, and I didn't even post to you.

My "mythology' is based on not multiplying entities beyond necessity. When space aliens land on the white House lawn I will be forced to reevaluate necessity.

I rather doubt that any reasonable amount of time will settle your issues. Mysterious things have been reported for thousands of years. Their domain has been shrinking with the growth of science. The expectation that space aliens, if real, will suddenly change their minds about revealing themselves in our lifetime seems unwarranted.

Your world will be just as unsettled in 50 years as it is today.

Actually, my world is more settled than that of most people I know.

And, at 59, 50 years hence, my environment will be exceedingly settled. Such is the heritage of those who trust in The Lord God Almighty.

Touched a nerve? I don't THINK so. Have been pretty well at peace the whole day.

Oh, I can still get slightly annoyed with what comes across as narrow rigid willful blindness in such matters but at this point in my life and this point on FR, it's such a . . . constant . . . given . . . on such threads it's hardly above boring any more. But I do still care enough to speak up as forcefully as I care to muster at the time.

Cheers.

May your next 50 years be thoroughly revealing, enriching, expansive in the growth of your understanding of true realities and true Truth.
