To: Hildy

Hildy I think you and I may be two of a handful who thought she was getting a raw deal. I think people judged her solely on having money and being involved in the pagents.

I came to admire her guts and her willingness to fight those who wanted her to be guilty.

I agree. And I also disagree about pageants. My stepdaughter was involved in these pageants and she grew up to be a beautifu, confident girl who carries herself well and is comfortable in all social settings. She credits the pageants for that. She stopped when she was 16.

The media did their best to paint her as a "Mommy Dearest" kind of person. Interviews I've seen long after the investigation was over showed a very different lady than what the media portrayed.

The Boulder PD screwed this investigation up from the git-go. Plus back then as a rule, perverts were not as brazen as to steal a child out of her own bed and so the finger of accusation was pointed at the family. Now we know there is no end as to what a pervert will do to get a child. This is probably one case that will never be resolved.

I'm with you. I can't begin to imagine losing a child, but then to be put through a meatgrinder and all the accusations, and the firmly held belief of some on this threat that you were responsible for that death, just had to be unbearable. Especially since much of the dislike of the Ramsey's was class envy. Mercifully, she is now at peace. Bless her soul.

Many judged her on the evidence

That may be so, but in light of today's news with the Duke case, there was far more evidence in the Ramsey house than the meager, next to nothing with the Duke case....

..and look at the Duke boys.....arrested, fingerprinted, indicted.

Patsy had nothing to do with her daughters murder.

PR was a domineering b.... who was reliving her childhood through her daughter -- somewhere along the way the little girl didn't measure up -- I always thought the brother did it out of jealousy because PR doted on JonBonnet -- either way life has a way of leveling -- the whole family was dysfunctional.

I never thought Patsy killed her daughter either. She lived vicariously through the girl why would she ever end that relationship? They are together now.

"Hildy I think you and I may be two of a handful who thought she was getting a raw deal"

I have to admit that I never liked the Ramseys.....they didn't cooperate with the cops IMO and harmed the investigation.......then again, I didn't like the Smarts either.......nor the San Diego swingers.....

I think the parents knew more than they let on.....the note was just too coincidental.....and weren't there fibers from Patsey's sweater on the duct tape?

however, I would find it hard to believe that a mother would do such vile things to a child, and practically pose her in such a state....

I always thought Burke had more to do with it than anything else....

I feel bad for Patsy anyway.....what a life.....
