That's absolutely true too. I got a job offer out in CA doing just that as a matter of fact. Well, water testing anyway. Not soil. But boy, CA is quite a haul from MA. Dunno if I could make such a switch.

Farmers need to know the chemical components of their soil. Where would be the best place to grow hay? The best type? Chemistry and agriculture go hand in hand. I'm not trying to tell you what to do though. Just seemed a fun way to work around horses.:')
