Her motivations are good, she's just fearful and nervous and needs patience and the right job. I'm reluctant to anyone who says they want her for a backyard kid, even if they ~tell me~ they will put the training in her that she needs. I just think people see small size and think she's cute and harmless.
I'd trust someone a lot more who said they wanted to train her to jump and resell her for a lot of money to a pony clubber. Those types are good riders, they want her speed, and they know that ponies aren't just for setting a kid on and letting them go. They treat them as athletes and horses, not pets.
