Morning. I really like my bridle (once I get it on the horse) and she seems to like it too. I don't like the reins though. They just seem too big and heavy and don't slide like I'm used to. I notice that Sarah Lee tends to neck rein better, so that is good . I'm going to keep working with them awhile but I'm going to have clips put on my old ones, I think. Funny, I like new stuff but hate change. I'm still trying to work the bugs out of my new saddle so maybe I'm adding too much at once.

Are the reins that come with your bridle, nylon split reins?

I didn't like them either and don't use them. But, I thought just the opposite of you, I thought they were too light weight:), and I don't like split reins anyway. I had a pair of braided black nylon barrel reins that could be let out long enough to work for trail rides.

I didn't know you got a new saddle. New saddles do take some getting use to. Funny how familiar our backsides can get with the feel of a particular saddle:)
