The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

My hubby reads all my posts too, but that's not the only reason I'm always nice about him :~)

I agree though. I don't post stuff that I don't want people to see.

Ok, I can't figure it out, It may be because I'm on a Mac.

I got it to my desktop, figured out how to access the file, but I keep getting "an error has occured and failed to load in file" or something like that.

Weird, because it allowed you to upload the other one. I think it's ~small~ enough... That was my issue when I first tried.

My pallet harrow worked pretty good spreading poop!

Drove all over till it looked like I'd hit most places at least a couple times :~)

A real harrow would be nice :~)

You do look like you need some. Looks like we did a month or so again. We're all green here again.

Your drag looks good. As long as it gets the job done:)

Would be better if it were heavier and roughed up the ground more... I'm looking around the yard for things I can drag behind the truck now :~)

You have any big rocks, cinder blocks, railroad ties...that's what we strapped on top of our drag.

You know, I'm really tired tonight, think I'll shut down, and head for bed early tonight....Celia is suppose to come ride tomorrow, may be a long day. She is going to the ride in Nov. that I wanted to go to, so she is still in the conditioning mode.

You ever watch deal or no deal? I was looking on NBCs site and couldn't find any info about contestants. Busy site. Maybe I missed it If not, what's up with that? Do they already have them picked?

Nope, never watched it. Jeopardy!'s the only game show I ever watch.

The contestants seem bubbly and I was wondering how they picked them.

Try dragging a piece of fencing - chain link if you have it, with a couple of cinderblocks for weight. Even without the weight, chain link works pretty well.
