I recently lost a cat due to kidney failure as well as one from it two years ago.

I'm no expert, but I strongly recommend feeding a cat food designed to minimize urinary track problems. I have two 16 year old cats that get Purina One formula for older cats, and a spoonful of special diet canned food as a treat. One of them was having obvious kidney problems before we switched.

People trust different brands, but I find this brand easy to get anywhere.

Purina One? Thanx for thr tip, I'll have to check it out. I know I've heard of it over Glenn Beck show but it is the dog food version.
