Just got the cable back on. We've had terrible storms all day. We had a small tornado touch down right near us..and Al and I actually had to go to the cellar. It was even more scary than going to Nully's basement.
What a mess of blown leaves, branches, and rain. Our driveway was so over-taken with rain the four inch PVC pipe that drains out below the barn couldn't handle it. First time it flooded the yard and entered the garage. Luckily all our packed boxes were in a dry spot.
It's been constant loud thunder and rolling storms all day since 10:30 this morning. We just got a break in it to grill our potatoes and steak outside. Jessie dropped in for supper. Sneaky little devil... she must haved smelled it. ;)
We watched the movie Eight Below..(Disney)as we had no TV or puter all day, and I was never so scared and I cried and cried. I can't take those kind of movies anymore. I was exhausted when it was over. Wonderful movie tho..and the lead guy was an absolute hunk girls!!!
If you cried over Old Yellow (Yella?) you'll sob with this one.. sighhhhh...
