I've been pleased that the Japanese PM has been our ally in the WOT, as well as a friend and supporter of the President. I didn't know about his devotion to all things "Elvis" until this trip. Apparently, he never misses an opportunity to break into song, an Elvis song that is. LOL So, the official gift from President and Mrs. Bush to him was a 50's style juke box loaded with 45's, 25 of which were Elvis. When I heard on the news this morning that they were going to Graceland I thought " Don't they have better things to do"? LOL Now I know why!!!!The guy does look rather star struck in that last photo doesn't he?

Amazing ! They had lunch at the Rendezvous in Memphis. Its not much to look at but, oh, yummmmm, the ribs are Great ! (or were the last time I ate there). If you haven't been there, I'm telling ya, its a BBQ joint and as famous as some of the patrons. Slabs of ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, beer by the pitcher all served by waiters that have been there for years. The original location is in a basement and it appears that might be where they are. LOL It also looks as if they decided to use real plates instead of the usual paper ones. LOL
