Oh, my goodness. The poor dears, God love 'em. I'll say a little prayer for their safe trip. How far do they have to drive ?

Hey, no matter where you were at the time, you were hitting a danger zone. You must have been positively wild.

Lordy ! Lordy ! Bless their dear hearts. They just wanted to be with their baby boy. They've been through a lot of stress over the past 24 hrs for someone their age. I assume your father is driving... is a good driver ?

You felt fine ? When your BP was that high, you felt fine ?

I'm just astounded, partly because my BP has always been very low.

Dad's legally blind. Mom's driving. At her best, she is a very scary driver...

Sounds like your release and recovery would have been expedited if the parents would've stayed home. Any word from them yet?

I've had a busy day. Got an emergency call first thing this morning from LE who were called about a 2 year old running around butt nekkid IN THE MIDDLE of a busy highway, with a curve on one side and a big hill on the other. Long story. It is the grace of God that the child is still breathing.

Don't make fun of the lockbox. I have it on good authority that Al keeps his solution for solving the global warming "crisis" inside, along with his secret decoder ring and proof of his 2000 election victory.

the Carribean, Mexico and Hawaii are a lot nicer places to visit

Perhaps. I might point out that regarding Michigan, places such as the North Pole, the South Pole and Siberia are a lot nicer places to visit.

I forgot to remind you......we've been sending the dumb ones down there in droves lately.......

Those who prefer sunshine to gloom, warm to frozen, and flowers to rust can hardly be characterized as dumb.

A tight constricted feeling in the chest, inability to get a full breath, pain on left arm, cold sweat, and slight mental confusion.

nully, you just described 99% of the people on this thread. The other 1% shares all the symptoms you mentioned but Sharky's mental confusion is not "slight."

There is that.

The insurance company thinks they've been paid.

The insurance company thinks they've been paid.

I think they have returned your check and make that an excuse not to pay for the current claims.
