Oh, am I wrong? Weren't they driving to HER parents home when she bolted .. At when I was first read (having never heard it), I thought she didn't want to go to HER house (parents, kids, familiy dynamic) and then (after her jailbreak) they go to HIS parents.
I'm inquiring. If they did change destinations than that may lend some weight to my original theory that she didn't want to go home. ?
That's apparently what happened in the OJ jury where the one white juror wanted to convict but didn't have the backbone to stay with it. As always, the composition of the jury is key.

My take is that the AV and Johnson were on the way to HER parent's home when a disagreement ensued. The AV got out of the car and started walking. After a few attempts, Johnson coaxed he back into the car and they drove to HIS parent's home to talk it out. After talking on the couch they went into his bedroom, (to have sex?). She dumps his drink on his cell phone, he gets ticked off and takes her to her parent's home telling her he can't drive her to the LAX party because she screwed up his cell phone.
