Police: Dancer Called Rape Allegation a 'Crock'

The motion also says the alleged victim told Durham police that she had performed for a couple at a Raleigh hotel hours before the Duke lacrosse party. She told police that she used a vibrator. Osborn suggests that could be the source of the vaginal injuries mentioned in the rape kit report. (snip) Osborn says the accuser gave conflicting accounts of what happened. The motion says medical records indicate she told a doctor that she used no alcohol or drugs. The accuser told the sexual assault nurse that she had consumed one drink of alcohol and was taking Flexeril, a prescription drug used to treat muscle spasms.

The alleged victim told a doctor the next day at UNC Hospitals that "she was drunk and had had a lot of alcohol that night," the motion said.

She later told police that she had consumed a 24-ounce bottle of beer and then told police she had two 22-ounce bottles of beer, according to the motion.

Megyn Kendall - Jury pool manners.

And sadly I agree with her.

Kimberly and Megan both bring up the jury pool and "mob justice". Taking off the PC gloves!

Megan says that a conviction IS posible. "Forget about the evidence. Look at the OJ case... The jury matters and that's why Nifong is pursing this case."

Right the judge could throw out all kinds of evidence and the jury could still convict.

The women on the Hannity are basically arguing that African-Americans might be willing to convict because the are racists.

Of course they are ignoring:

1. While some African-Americans are racists not all African-Americans are racists.

2. If this goes to trial there will be a change in venue.

Nifong, Stephens, Baker, Bell, and some city council members ... seem to be on the same page.

Don't think that's new about Evans losing his job. It was announced a couple of weeks ago. But the passage of time doesn't make it any less appalling.

I am furious!!!

I have seen this stated a number of times. Do we know this is true? Do we know that he just did not defer starting util this is over? Do we know that his company did not change their view after it became so clear what this case was? [I know not everyone is watching this case as closely as we are.]

Megan has it right.
Reverse of OJ.
I can see it coming.
This trial (if it goes to trial) MUST be moved.
I am so damn mad. Absolutely furious.

Her point was that even WITH the evidence the jury would convict.

She wasn't reaching the possibility of a judge who is sensitive to the community ruling against the players on evidentiary issues.

She specifically mentioned OJ. IOW, she's talking about the racial makeup of the jury.

Speaking of Nifong, didn't Megyn Kendall say Nifong had some good news for his case the other day?

Right that is what I was saying. You might get a good judge but the jury could still vote to convict. You never really know what a jury is going to do.

You've got to give credit to Megan for saying it. Wow! Besides good looks, she also has major cajones! How refreshing to have a straightshooter reporter in this crazy age of PC.

We haven't even gotten to the change of venue requests by the defense.

I doubt this will be tried in Durham, especially after Dumbass LIEfong tainted the potential jury pool with his lies during his 70-odd initial media appearances.
