Maybe it's just the summer doldrums. Everyone's too hot to do much besides stare blankly at the screen. I know I'm having some difficulty putting a coherent sentence together!

Summer doldrums, yes. Here it's not hot -- I don't even have the fan on (we don't have A/C), and I tend to start melting down when we pass 75F.

OTOH we have a heat wave coming, likely to reach 90F or even higher (relatively low humidity). Don't think I'll die, but I won't be happy. Low 40s, cool, foggy and misty -- that is almost heaven! (Except that it is also ideal for moss growth...)

I wouldn't mind a blast of low 40's right now. My ac just switched on ... 9:30 p.m. and it's over 80 *inside*.

I think I'll go to bed under a fan now!
