FLAKE: Basically--if I can explain it without giving the whole thing away--it's about an ancient conspiracy involving the real origins of the early Church, and--

FLAKE: "The Empty Cathedral" does draw on a lot of the research behind "The Da Vinci Code." But when I started looking deeper into the subject, I found that we only had a part of the story.
