I'll take it. The yard needs water.

Yah. We replanted our front yard recently. Had to turn the sprinklers on Sunday (following the first mowing), but it's holding up well.

We're getting that "brown spotty" effect again this year. I've heard varying explanations of why that happens from bugs to bad soil.

The hot weather did a number on my planters. One basket died complely because I have a family of juncos nesting in it and the parents wouldn't tolerate my attempts to water it. Now that the babies have hatched, they should fledge in about another week to ten days and I can replace it. Right now the neighbors just think I'm an uncaring plant killer. :-)
