Oyster-flavored? *pained expression*
Well, yeah.
I didn't say there wasn't a downside.
*NnB counts negatives on his fingers -- okay*
Whether or not there is a downside depends upon one's opinion of oysters, lollipops, and offspring of the two.
Lollipops are great!
But, of course, they don't belong in the same sentence, much less the same mouth!
Sorry I brought up considered the subject.
LOL!!!!
Time for me to turn in. I'll see you 'round.
Good Night, Alice!
"Actually, I'm all for having an automobile "docking station" where the electrical and heating systems of your car integrate with those of your house. When power fails in your house, the automobile would power up and provide emergency power to selected circuits."
Very very intelligent thinking Bob! Could be implemented in a month or so! Kudos!
How nice to hear from you! We're all doing very well. We were out at the botanical gardens yesterday afternoon, broiling hot, and Vlad and I collapsed before 8:00 p.m.
I'm back at my fighting weight (118), and Vlad's over 20. I've been running, and I'll be doing 3 miles this week, if all goes well. Starting next week, I'll have to get my boy Bill to take me out on the road at least once a week, since it's different from the treadmill.
Anoreth's going to a Catholic youth conference in Atlanta this weekend, and I'm going to be 40.
I hope you and the colorful children are all flourishing!
Ah! you live!
That wasn't sarcasm. That was a compliment.
I wish that everyone I'd ever encountered in any kind of origins-related discussion could find it in themselves to be of that same mindframe. It's one thing to say, "This is what I think." It's a different thing, entirely, to say, "This is what YOU must think."
I see lots of the latter, little of the former, and, for all that, the tone of the debate is irreparably damaged.
Busy-boy drive-by ping hit....
Drive-by pings are often effective.
Well, thank you! I thought I sounded a little snippy, but I was in a rush to change a diaper or something and didn't have time to rephrase.
I don't know why we can't all agree (as we do on the Undead Thread :-), that we are all reasonably intelligent, reasonably well-educated people, who are capable of understanding information and drawing conclusions from it. We can also accept that the conclusions we draw are going to reflect our preconceptions as well as the provable facts. I think that would eliminate a lot of name-calling.
Here's another drive by for the record...
I still have The Punys so I'll be keeping a slightly lower profile for another day. :o[
Hope you feel better soon! Drink plenty of water -- hyperbolic rodomontade is not a replacement for good old H-2-O!
Sometimes, the water makes the nausea worse, so I have to be pretty careful. But thanks!
I usually drink about 6-8 quarts of ice water a day, since I have sicca syndrome.
No cure for that...:o|
Hope you feel better soon!
I will, thanks. It's always transitional...relapse and remission. Some relapses are worse than others, and some remissions are better thsn others. The hard part is adjusting my life to fit the fluctuations.
Once I get into my own place, things will be better. I promise. Then I'll be here nagging everyone to post...;o]
Honest.
