Everyone knew she was blind except the Terri fanatics -- even you, to this day, are expressing your doubts that Terri was blind. And you have the benefit of the autopsy. What's your excuse?
"Her med records show a number of tracking tests by medical professionals."
If by tracking tests you mean the balloon tracking the random movements of her eyes, yes. If the tests showed anything else, why, we know now that those results were false, don't we?
Sure. Nobody knows for sure. I've explained the uncertainty often enough. One, the ME is offering an untestable hypothesis. He's very probably right, but even he doesn't know for sure. Two, the discrepancy between cortical blindness at autopsy and observed visual capacity before death -- it was observed by many medical professionals -- can be explained by the dehydration.
I stand by my point that nobody thought she was blind before her death. That's why it was such a surprise to all. That's why it was news.
If it is your argument that "everyone knew she was blind" in the sense that her mind was incapable of processing visual information (cortical blindness), say so. And show me a poll of informed opinion where "everyone" agrees with your propositon. It's nonsense.
The movements were not random, no. Read Gimon's affidavit. Or, stay tuned. There will be more affidavits from medical professionals. We don't need to get our information from a blogger unfamiliar with Terri's medical history.
