Unfortunately, Mises was all too accurate in his predictions. American politicians have sought to maintain themselves in power through lavish spending, relative to tax revenue. This has resulted in massive debt accumulation and grotesque under-funding of federal entitlements. Very little of this spending could be construed as capital investment.

This is the tragedy of Republican-style white-shoe socialism.

Rest assured, socialism works no better when Amurricans operate it than when Russians operate it.

What an abject disappointment - after 8 years of depression - we have the Congress and the WH - yet what has been done to build upon the legacies of Goldwater and Reagan?

Tax cuts aside, they've bloated the beast as much as ANY democrap ever did.

The Bots just eat it up like it's dessert, how pathetic and viscerally disgusting.

But what should we expect from a Sheeple who the majority of can't name ALL three branches of their own Govt.

The 100 years worth of progressive indoctrinators get an A+ in their co-opting of our Govt and their destruction of our liberties.
